HOT! Download Android KitKat 4.4.2 stock firmware for new E-ceros Revolution tablet

Download Android KitKat 4.4.2 stock firmware for new E-ceros Revolution tablet from here, here or here. Firmware image file name: q9_ct9716_4.4.2_20140428.img. From here you can download Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 stock firmware for first generation of E-ceros Revolution Tablet.

Beware! Flashing your tablet might avoid your warranty, so the risk is yours. Some users reported a soft brick after upgrading process on first / old generation of Revolution tablet.

Some advices about soft unbrick
- this is if you flash by mistake with a different / incorrect firmware or bootloader on RK3188 devices.
- if you flash the wrong firmware or the wrong bootloader you can end on Windows 8 / 8.1 with the famous error 'Unknown USB Device' (device descriptor request failed), currently still largely met at ROCKUSB devices with micro USB connector. To fix that you have to temporarily use a PC with Windows 7 or Windows XP just to flash back the correct firmware (in this case maybe you'll try Jelly Bean from the link above).
- if the deviced is not detected at all, connect the power cord to the tablet, then connect it to the PC via USB cable. If this is only a soft brick, in some cases, the device should be soon recognized by the PC, then flash back a good firmware from the list above.
- Bad flashing leading to soft brick which could be fixed by using RKBatchTool in conjunction with using a hardware button combination (power and volume down) to fix USB recognition errors and then flash as normal.
- sometimes bad flashing leading to corrupt NAND which caused a "043 error" which could be fixed by physically shorting the NAND module, using RKAndroidTool to erase/wipe the existing NAND, and then reflash with the RKBatchTool as normal. Not recommended at all for unexperienced users. Best advice: send the device in service for repair.
