This is a simple guide on how to easily reset the BIOS of Voyo Mini PC. I messed up some settings in BIOS the othe day, as I was trying to install also Android, and somehow I disabled the USB support in BIOS, so I had to reset BIOS to default settings.
If you want to do that, you have to download first 'Voyo Mini PC BIOS' archive from here, here or here. (2,44 MB) I advise everyone to make a copy of a working BIOS, if possible, before doing BIOS experiments. To do that you can simple use the provided afuwin-5.05.04 software. If you disabled USB in the BIOS, just like I did by mistake, only overwriting NVRAM can reset BIOS settings. In this way, there is no need to open the case, to teardown Voyo Mini PC, to reset the CMOS. All the actions are made from Windows environment, so your Mini PC has to be able to boot into Windows. All the following actions that are you will do next are entirely at your own risk.
1. Download the above archive. It is better to extract the content to the disk C.
2. Open as administrator Afuwingui.exe \afuwin\32\AfuWin32\Afuwingui.exe.
3. Open original backuped bios. Uncheck default 'Main BIOS Image' and check only NVRAM box. Press Flash. And best of all, start a command prompt as administrator and type, for example: C:\AfuWin32\afuwin.exe BIOS.rom /N
4. Press exit and restart the PC. After boot go into the BIOS and reset settings to default.
I tested myself and everything worked like a charm. Now my Voyo Mini PC BIOS is back to default settings.

First download AMIDuOS by American Megatrends from here. Install it and just run it. Follow the instructions in the article and install gapps (Gapps-jb-20130812-signed). Go in 'Settings' in 'DuOS Configuration Tool' and in 'Advanced' tab just tick 'Root Mode'. Go to Play Store and install SuperSu. You're done!

First run, first impressions.
The device boots quickly, reaching the Windows 8.1 Start screen under 20 seconds, which is great. After the first boot, 48.5GB/53.3GB was free on the internal storage. And yes, Windows 8.1 with Bing is activated. Performance of the device feels nice and fast, with animations remaining smooth and applications launching quickly. The WiFi is fast and stable and the lack of Ethernet RJ45 port is not a problem, you can buy a cheap USB to Ethernet dongle.
Once past the initial setup, Windows experience becomes more pleasant waiting time to start applications or web pages load is within acceptable limits, comparable to an older generation PC. No 2GB RAM seems to be a serious obstacle, as long as we do not use too many applications simultaneously
Overall, the VOYO Mini PC is an interesting device. Being so compact, it makes it a great portable HTPC or general purpose PC

This is an easy 5-steps tutorial on how to install Windows 10 Pro latest build 10074 on Voyo Mini PC:
1. Download latest Windows 10 Pro x86 from here (build 10074, at this time).
2. Download rufus-2.1.exe from here. Use it to make a bootable USB stick with Windows 10 Pro x86. Insert it into Voyo Mini PC.
3. In Voyo Mini PC with Windows 8.1 with Bing: Swipe from the right to open the charms bar. Tap or click on Settings. Tap or click on Change PC settings at the bottom of the charms bar. Choose Update and Recovery from the list of options on the left of the PC settings window. Choose Recovery. Locate the Advanced startup section and read information below before clicking Restart Now. The computer should begin to restart. After restarting the computer the Choose an option menu screen will appear. To boot from a device, such as a USB drive or CD select Use a device. Then choose USB UEFI and the device will reboot and start to install Windows 10 Pro from the bootable USB stick.
4. Use the regular installations steps for Windows Setup, and when you're asked 'Which type of installation do you want' select 'Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)'. Finish the setup and finally reboot into Windows 10 Pro Preview.
5. Download Windows 8.1 Drivers for Voyo Mini PC from here. Go to 'VOYO Mini PC drive 184290\mrd7-pr2-ww39\DriverPackage\Installer\PlatformInstaller' and run Setup.exe on Voyo Mini PC. This will install all the drivers via Intel MRD7 Driver Package PR2 Release - WW39. Reboot the system. 6. You can also download 'Voyo Mini PC Windows 10 Drivers' from here, here or here. (59 MB) 7.
