This is a pretty nice and a very cheap PC remote controller; it is not the best option to navigate or to input text, but it does a great job in basic PC operations, because of dedicated buttons. How to install the TNT R4 firmware release on Pipo S1 tablet

First of all you have to download the Pipo Smart S1 TNT Release 4 Firmware Image from here or from here. Then you must download the Rockchip Batch Tool v1.5 from here. In the next step you have to install The Rockusb Driver v2.0, according to this video tutorial. 

Now put the Pipo S1 tablet into 'firmware update mode' (pressing in the same time the Volume Down button + a thin pin into reset hole), run the Rockchip Batch Tool v1.5, select the pipo_s1_TNT_R4.img file and press 'Restore' button. Wait for 4-5 minutes and that's it.

Basic BB10 Lockscreen

- not too many options or fine tunning in this basic version as it is a quick release as per request
- it is intended for normal users running stock rom, modders and rom makers


requirements
- Galaxy S3 I9300XXEMR2 DEODEXED STOCK ROM
- may work with other recent JB DEODEXED STOCK ROM, not tested


features
- able to choose between bb10 lockscreen, stock swipe lockscreen with or without ripple effect
- smoother and more realistic wave effect
- fewer screen flickering issues but expected
- starting poing is set to the bottom half of the screen, while ending point (trigger screen unlock) is set to somewhere near the top of the screen


limitations
- enabling bb10 lockscreen will unset and disable the ripple effect option due to compatibility problems which are not covered in basic version
- as to re-enable ripple effect option, disable bb10 lockscreen first
- this basic version is made for swipe and pattern lock only. it may be available with other lockscreens but not tested
- motion lock is excluded since to unlock the screen with swipe (swipe up to the top of the screen) and tilt at the same time is not a good choice
- lock screen rotation is not available in this basic version
- note that this is built from stock rom files, therefore no other mod like power option menu, etc are included
- i cannot perform all kind of tests for this mod so errors or force close may occur
- this mod is for stock rom XXEMR2, it may or may not cause problems if you use it for other roms

Rikomagic MK802II short circuit recovery method

Whenever your Rikomagic MK802II has following issues, you might solve these issues by using this recovery/update method.

1. After boot, there is no signal; 

2. There is only boot screen; 

3. System running very slow or/and crashing; 

4. Can’t find the wireless network equipment or can’t connect to wireless network; 

5. When installing apps, player loss power unexpected and cant boot up.

Recovery / update steps:

1. Download from here the firmware .img file and the Livesuit recovery tool. 

2. Decompress the archive and the run the LiveSuit.exe file. 

When the first pop-up window appear, select the 'No' option and then go to the next step, and click “img” to choose tvd_minipc_4.0_0815_ddr408_otd_recovery_....img file for update or recovery.

3. Connet the MK802II to the computer. In this step you'll need  1 piece of thin metal stick. Then you have to remove the bottom cover of MK802II, as below, Take out the USB cable (Micro USB to USB A cable), connect with USB OTG of the unit, then according to below indication, put the thin metal stick between 6th and 7th pin of the flash.

Don’t release the stick yet, and at same time, connect the USB cable with computer, after 3-5s, loose the stick. There will pop out a window guide to install new HW driver, please install according to below step one by one: (this process should execute twice.)

Then select 'Next'. Download the USB driver from here. 

Unrar the file and then click 'Browse' button, find out from extracted folder, then click “next” to install.

When finished installation, the computer will pop out below window, then click “finish”.

This process should execute twice, after finished, below screen will appear (format confirm window): 

Now select “yes” (left button).

Select “yes” again, then recovery/update process will execute. 

This procedure will cost 3 minutes so please wait patiently and during recovery/upgrade do not remove the usb cable. When the prompt window appears, click “confirm” for confirmation, then pull out the USB cable and then the whole process will be finished. 

Notice: 

1. Same computer just need install driver for one time; 

2. First turn on the unit after recovery/update will cost more long time, and even occur some lag issue, it’s normal since internal apk file need be decompressed and occupy RAM, after 5 minutes, then system running well. So don’t worry about that.

the amazing bb10 lock screen, now on my Galaxy S3 I9300 running stock Jelly Bean I9300XXMR2. after spending 4 days since i found it by accident, and from ZSEMA1 to XXMR2, ... i finally make it, YES!!!!





although it is all hard coded with no customization by default yet

Rikomagic A10 Media PC Android 4.0.4 firmware installed on Rikomagic MK802II Stick

In this episode I'll show you another firmware, this time we're talking about the Rikomagic A10 Media PC Android 4.0.4 firmware installed on Rikomagic MK802II Stick. The method is the same, burn the firmware with PhoenixCard Tool on your micro SD card, insert it in your MK802II stick, power on and wait 4-5 minute. In fact, you can learn from this video tutorial how to do it exactly.
